These simple child's moccasins are beaded on yellow ochre stained buffalo hide. They date to 1880's or possibly 1870's. The beaded design is a simple vertical light blue band down the vamp with a block of pink bordered by cobalt blue beads in the center with a line of cobalt and a line of pink beads at the bottom. The moccasins were worn but are in excellent condition.
